About the role
We are seeking a reliable Operator for our full-time, hourly W2 position at Golden Peanut in Seagraves, TX. This is an On-Site position with rotating shifts including nights, days, and weekends/holidays.
Responsibilities
- Continuously monitors and adjusts equipment for optimal performance and quality
- Conducts job tasks with a positive, safe attitude and maintains a safe work record
- Maintain a good attendance record
- Work rotating shifts of various lengths including weekends and holidays
- Maintain production rates
- Ability to understand and perform assigned job tasks easily and independently while flexible enough to work in team settings
- Maintains good housekeeping and completes sanitation duties and paperwork as required
- Conducts daily inspections, reporting any problems noted
- Review quality control documents and make necessary adjustments
- Perform maintenance and sanitation on machines as required
- May perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- A positive attitude and team mindset
- Previous experience in a factory setting (1+ years)
- A desire to learn various operations and grow with the company
- Focus on Safety- Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero-injury culture: to understand and follow all company safety procedures and use of PPE
- The ability to understand and effectively communicate in English (verbal/written)
- The ability to lift 50 lbs
- A high school diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age or older
- The ability to work a rotating shift that includes days and nights, some weekends and holidays
- Maintain excellent attendance (being on time, working when scheduled, staying until your shift ends)
- Demonstrates the ability to be observant and to address concerns that may arise
- Experience with operating a forklift is a plus
- Mechanical Aptitude is a plus
- The ability to work above ground level on grated flooring and climb stairs/ladders
Qualifications
- Updated resume or work history required for consideration
- The site requires ankle supporting height (no tennis shoes) steel toe boots
