Operator I- Days

Shift

• Graves Shift Saturday–Monday 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Tuesday 5:00 AM–11:00 AM

Major Accountabilities

• Produce and mix chemicals as needed
• Understand and operate plant equipment and processes
• Load and unload tanks, rail cars, tanker trailers, and all other containers
• Regularly lift 75 pounds
• Operate pumps, mixers, and blenders
• Operate forklift
• Keep work area clean
• Light maintenance

Basic Qualifications

• Desire and demonstrated ability to work safely and promote safety and safe work practices
• Be quality conscious
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Stability in work history
• Willing to submit to a background screening
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and physical
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language well (safety and operational issue)
• Aptitude to follow written and verbal instructions in detail and learn additional skills with experience
• Capacity to work in extreme conditions (temperature) and lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Flexibility to work varying hours or shifts if necessary
• Ability to wear applicable personal protective equipment (PPE) including chemical resistant gloves and boots, safety glasses, hard hat, face shield, full-face respirator (if required), and chemical splash suit (overalls and jacket)
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer minimum of 2-3 years prior work experience
• Experience in manufacturing environment including use of tools and equipment is preferred
