Operator, Bench - Multiple Shifts

About the role

StandardAero is seeking an entry-level opportunity where on-the-job training will be provided to selected candidates. This position offers hands-on training and mentorship from experienced aviation maintenance professionals to help you build a successful and growing career.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a variety of hand tools such as hammers, files, dremel's, drills, presses, pedestal grinders and belt grinders
• Operate low temperature ovens and hand grinders to perform various operations
• Blending, blasting & stripping of aircraft engine blades
• Chasing threads, deburring, angle checking, coldworking metals and masking
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance
• Ability to stand for at least 50% of shift

Qualifications

• Desired skills include experience with hand tools and/or power tools, previous experience reading/interpreting manuals, technical drawings, and/or blueprints, and a flexible attitude to support different areas of the shop as priorities shift day to day.
