Responsibilities
- Set up machines to order specifications for bottling.
- Fill and label products according to order specifications.
- Clean and sanitize equipment between orders.
- Maintain strict attention to good manufacturing practices and plant safety and sanitation policies.
- Read and understand computer-generated batch reports to set up machines accurately.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for the care, handling, and storage of food products; report any violations to management.
- Utilize HACCP philosophy and procedures in daily work routines.
- Understand and follow all plant policies concerning safety, emergency procedures, conduct, maintenance, sanitation, and departmental procedures.
- Assist the Team Leader and Production Supervisor in training new employees and performing competency reviews.
- Follow procedures for pulling product samples for quality analysis.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds safely and handle heavier packages, including 55-gallon drums.
