Operator

The Operator supports manufacturing operations by safely and efficiently performing a variety of of production related tasks. This roles is designed to be flexible and adaptable allowing employees to contribute across multiple production areas as business needs require. Operators are expected to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity while adhering to company policies, and procedures. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Perform production and material handling tasks in support of manufacturing operationsOperate, monitor, and assist with industrial machinery, tools, and equipment following training and authorizationInspect materials, components, and finished productions to ensure quality standards are metFollow all safety rules, procedures, and work instructions, including PPE requirementsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentAccurately completed required documentation , logs, and production recordsAssist with setup, changeovers, and routine operational tasks as assignedSupport continuous improvement efforts related to safety, quality, productivity, and costCommunication effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and support departmentsPerform other related duties as assigned, consistent with training, and qualifications Safety And Compliance Responsibilities Actively support Haynes International's safety culture and environmental standardsReport unsafe conditions, incident and near misses promptlyComply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA requirements Participate in required safety training and operational certifications Qualification Must pass basic math and tape measure test with minimum score of 80%High school diploma or GEDAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsCommitment to safety, quality, and teamworkAbility to work assigned shifts, including overtime, weekends, or holidays as required. Preferred Prior manufacturing or industrial experienceMechanical aptitude or technical training
