About The Role

Essity is looking for production employees with the ability and aptitude to progress to top positions in each department while supporting our high safety standards. Newly hired employees begin as a Labor Reserve, learning processes and equipment. This role requires physical exertion in a heavy, industrial environment. The ideal candidate should live in or near Middletown, OH.

Responsibilities

• Prepare raw materials for operation
• Operate machinery and industrial equipment to Essity standards
• Maintain communication with previous and next shifts, crew members, and team members involved in operations
• Maintain housekeeping and secure quality levels through regular testing
• Complete all documentation needed for operations
• Work safely while wearing required personal protective equipment (hearing protection, eye protection, steel-toed shoes, bump caps, etc.)
• Accurately read tape measures, gauges, and other test equipment
• Utilize basic math and computer skills to retrieve and enter data
• Train and re-train as position requirements are modified

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Mechanical aptitude
• Safety awareness
• Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
• Complex problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a team-based setting
• Must pass written assessment, pre-placement physical, drug screen, and background check
