Responsibilities
- Drive hostlers and big rigs to position containers and chassis
- Back up under cranes and park in designated spots
- Connect and disconnect hitches and air hoses
- Clip and unclip safely on the ground crew
- Climb up and down rail cars while performing pre- and post-use equipment inspections
- Maintain clear lines under cranes
- Coordinate moves with yard personnel and supervisors
