Valgroup is hiring a Day Shift Operator Assistant to support our manufacturing facility in Findlay, Ohio. We are one of the largest plastics producers and recyclers in the world, dedicated to improving quality of life with innovative and sustainable packaging solutions.
About the role
Operate a new production line on a 12-hour day shift schedule (7:30am - 7:30pm) following a 2-2-3 rotation, with multiple weekdays and every other weekend off.
Responsibilities
- Become a skilled machine operator
- Pull and weigh materials
- Learn line start-up and troubleshooting
- Learn to operate a forklift
- Assist with other projects and work as needed
Requirements
- Mechanical ability and problem-solving skills
- Safe work behaviors and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
- High school diploma or GED preferred
