About the role

This position is primarily responsible for operating workstations and associated systems used in the manufacturing of products sold to our customers. This position is expected to work with lower-level Operators along with higher-level Technicians to effectively meet or exceed expectations for product quality and production rates. In this position, you must have a basic knowledge of how to set up and operate workstations, perform visual and dimensional inspections needed to manufacture the products at Cirtec.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with all Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) requirements to ensure products are consistently produced and controlled according to the Quality System
  • Follow established documentation for product manufacturing
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, machines, tools, and equipment
  • Take direction within the manufacturing cell from upper-level operators assigned to that cell
  • Assist production operators and technicians engaged in processing and product fabrication
  • Load small devices to fixtures and equipment
  • Make basic measurements and math calculations relative to tolerances and dimensions
  • Adjust machines as instructed to achieve conformance with specifications and maximum yield
  • Perform in-process visual inspections with and without the use of microscopes in accordance with the requirements stated in the Process Control Document or as otherwise stated on drawings or work instructions
  • Comply with company, quality, and safety standards, policies, and procedures

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of medical device and manufacturing experience
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to accurately document details
  • Ability to use a microscope on a daily basis throughout the shift

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) (preferred)

Pay

$20-$22/hour, based on experience and qualifications

Schedule

5:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Thursday
