Operator #2 in PrePress - 3rd Shift

3rd Shift position in Eagan, Minnesota (10:30 PM – 6:30 AM). Occasional overtime up to 4 hours per day and occasional weekend shifts.

About the Role

• Review job specifications for material and set-up requirements
• Perform or delegate set-up tasks
• Monitor equipment and product through the job run to ensure high-quality output
• Perform moderately complex troubleshooting related to product or equipment
• Communicate effectively during shift and at shift hand-off
• Evaluate mechanical condition of equipment, complete preventive maintenance, and involve Maintenance as needed
• Use computer-based workflow applications to manage files
• Work results are not typically checked by others

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or higher; vocational/technical degree strongly preferred
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and production orders
• Experience with Lean and continuous improvement
• Good communication skills, including experience sharing information across shifts and departments
• Proven success as a trainer
• Competence with rulers and measurement
• Ability to regularly lift at least 5 lbs. above the shoulder, push, pull, and lift at least 10 lbs., occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Regularly stand, walk, crouch, bend, reach, and kneel
• Must pass a background check and drug test

Pay

Base compensation hourly range: $21 USD – $39 USD. Eligible for an Annual Bonus based on enterprise and individual performance.
