Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of equipment including forklifts, conveyors, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished products or goods within a plant, office, or warehouse.
• Maintain records as needed.
• Develop skills in basic tasks, techniques, and procedures within one skill area or process.
• Apply basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps.
• Work within clearly defined SOPs and/or scientific methods and adhere to quality guidelines.
• Work under general to limited supervision.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Zero (0) to one (1) year of warehouse experience or related experience and/or training.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Must be able to drive a forklift with a minimum of 6 months experience.
• Previous work experience with slip and clamp is a plus but not required.
• Effective communication skills at a level coworkers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand.
• Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend documents written in English and perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to perform/operate in a metrics-driven environment.
• General computer skills.

Qualifications

• Obtain and/or maintain appropriate licenses/training/certifications as needed.
• Has basic skills training in an analytical/scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production).

• Regularly exposed to walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, balancing, climbing, lifting, crouching, reaching, pulling, pushing, grasping, talking, hearing, twisting, and frequent use of hands to finger, handle, feel, pick, or type, which can include repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, or fingers.
• May be required to lift and/or move over 50 lbs.
• Exposure to work near moving mechanical parts, extreme weather conditions, and vibration.
• Occasional exposure to work in high, precarious places and fumes/airborne particles.
• Work environment can be hot in summer months (no AC) and cold in winter months (limited heating).
• Noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.

Screening

• 10-panel drug screening required.
• Candidates can start while background checks are pending, but criminal background checks and 10-panel drug screening must be cleared before starting the job assignment.

Pay

$20.00 per hour including shift differential.

Schedule

Sunday through Thursday, 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM.

Safety Requirements

• Steel-toe shoes required.
