Operator 1, Packaging Operations

Responsibilities

• Manual inspection, labeling, and packaging of clinical and commercial products.
• Perform finished product packaging to meet customer, internal, clinical, and other demands.
• Ensure finished product is packaged according to procedures and quality specifications.
• Inspect in-process packaging and components for consistency and remove defective items.
• Maintain accurate documentation of manufacturing activities, including device history records and inventory counts.
• Assist with simple mathematical calculations and batch record completion.
• Participate in inventory counting activities as needed.
• Engage in safety audits and daily safety discussions/observations.
• Perform routine cleaning of packaging stations and processing equipment.
• Absorb and comply with personal protective equipment and product contamination control requirements.
• Handle hazardous waste as necessary.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 6 months of industry work experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Effective teamwork skills.
• Good documentation practices.
• Flexible work schedule, including static or rotating shifts and overtime as needed.
• Familiarity with computers and various software for general business functions.
• Basic mathematical calculation ability.

Pay

$20.00 per hour.

Schedule

Work schedule hours are from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Must be able to work overtime if needed. Candidate must be open and flexible for overtime hours.
