About the role

This operator role is a challenging opportunity for an individual interested in producing a high-quality product that will be used to enrich the lives of others. The position contributes to all phases of the production process using autonomy, mastery, and purpose, working under direct supervision on standardized duties and tasks with established procedures or written instructions. The ideal candidate will be able to work individually as well as in teams at our Hannibal Manufacturing Center of Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions
• Operate equipment, tools, and machinery to prepare and assemble product
• Assure product meets all quality standards
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Meet production metrics (takt time)
• Check and fill out necessary reports, manufacturing orders, scrap, rejects, and production times

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED certificate or equivalent (preferred)
• Basic math skills
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read and comprehend measurements on a tape measure
• Established good attendance record at previous employment
• Work history does not exceed more than two jobs in the past year

Qualifications

• Up to three years of related manufacturing experience (preferred)
• Demonstrated knowledge with basic computer systems
• Willingness to work overtime when needed
• Willingness to be a cross-functional team member
• Ability to learn new skills and follow directions
• Currently assigned to Watlow as a temp agency worker
