Operations Trainer

About the Opportunity:The OPERATIONS TRAINER role is responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating training programs that enhance operational excellence. This position impacts the organization by supporting onboarding, ongoing staff development, process improvements, and corrective actions. The role contributes significantly by ensuring employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform effectively within regulated healthcare operations. Responsibilities:Design, develop, and facilitate instructor-led, virtual, and eLearning training programs.Deliver onboarding and ongoing training across operational functions.Collaborate with department leaders, quality management, and learning teams to identify and meet training needs.Create training materials, job aids, presentations, assessments, and learning resources.Maintain professional development and operational training curricula.Assess employee readiness and administer knowledge checks.Analyze training outcomes and recommend improvements.Support training related to audit findings, corrective actions, and quality improvements.Ensure training content accuracy and compliance with subject matter experts.Monitor training completion and provide leadership reporting.Provide individualized coaching and reinforcement training.Develop expertise in operational systems and processes, including the HSP platform.Train employees on standard procedures, workflows, system functions, and best practices.Support training across Utilization Management, Claims, Contact Center, and other operational areas.Perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements:Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.Minimum four years of experience in adult learning, curriculum development, training delivery, organizational development, leadership, or related fields.At least two years of healthcare, dental, managed care, or related healthcare operations experience.Utilization Management experience preferred.Experience in a regulated healthcare operational environment preferred.Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.Proven ability to develop and deliver engaging training.Strong facilitation, presentation, coaching, and communication skills.Ability to collaborate with leaders and cross-functional teams.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience developing assessments and measuring training effectiveness.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.Learning Management System experience preferred.HSP system knowledge preferred.Strong organizational skills with multitasking ability.Ability to provide professional feedback and coaching.High professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligence.Self-motivated with accountability and initiative.
