About the role
The Role at Lumen is dedicated to providing high-speed internet and network services to businesses and consumers. We are seeking an experienced IT Specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including servers, routers, and switches.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
- Implement and configure network security protocols and firewalls.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant IT experience, preferably in a network management role.
- Proficiency in network administration tools such as Cisco IOS, Windows Server, and Linux.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols, VLANs, and routing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Experience with network monitoring tools like SolarWinds or Nagios.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V.
- Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.

Pay
The starting salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
