Responsibilities
- Performs various tasks to safely maintain facility equipment and support pipeline operations
- Supports inspections and supervision of equipment, maintaining operation and technical standards
- Safeguards compliance with governmental requirements
- Collaborates with others to solve technical or operational problems
- Follows Company policies and applies appropriate operating and maintenance procedures
- Acquires knowledge of and adheres to requirements for safe and efficient operation of facilities
- Completes assigned reports, logs, and maintains accurate records of process operations and equipment performance
- Completes preventative maintenance on equipment
- Oversees general knowledge of site/location/equipment/specific permits and compliance
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Required: High School Diploma/GED
- Prior Associates or two-year technical degree preferred
- Minimum six (6) months mechanical, technical, or controls systems experience in the oil and gas industry or operations technician summer internship with Associates Degree
- Must be willing to work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spaces
- Carries or lifts items up to 50 lbs and team lifts loads of more than 50 lbs as needed
- Stands, walks, climbs, bends, stoops, and squats, often for long periods of time
- Works at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE
- Uses hand tools
Physical and Environmental Work Requirements

Shift/Work Hours/Travel Requirements
- Available to work after hours, on-call rotations, nights, weekend shifts and holidays as the need arises
- May be required to work overtime, 10-12 hour shifts and travel between Williams locations with occasional overnight stays
Other Requirements
- Valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Demonstrates aptitude and ability to embrace technology and applications to drive operational efficiency and streamline processes
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills and basic knowledge of Process Control Systems and Programmable Logic Controllers
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma/GED
