Operations Team Lead - D shift, Manufacturing

About the role

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for an Operations Team Lead to contribute to our Manufacturing team in Chambersburg, PA. The Production team ensures that our production facilities function at maximum efficiency, emphasizing safety through training, education, and accident prevention programs, and process improvement through innovations like voice and Radio Frequency (RF) technologies.

Responsibilities

• Trains and develops hourly associates.
• Acts as the department contact for all production systems issues and questions.
• Provides direction and leadership to associates.
• Identifies, communicates, and ensures all quality and productivity standards are met within the department.
• Researches issues, problems, or concerns and recommends solutions.
• Maintains customer requests, deadlines, commitments, and quality standards in a timely manner.
• Plans and coordinates work activities, overseeing hourly associates to ensure efficient completion of tasks.
• Collaborates with other departments on workflow activities.
• Affords assistance in administering policy and payroll activities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year experience with PC-based applications.
• One year work experience in a warehouse operations environment.
• Six months' work experience which includes walking, standing, lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling, gripping/grasping, bending, squatting/kneeling, twisting/turning, climbing, crawling, reaching above shoulders, typing/keyboard.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• One year experience with PC based applications.
• One year work experience in a warehouse operations environment.
• Six months' work experience which includes walking, standing, lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling, gripping/grasping, bending, squatting/kneeling, twisting/turning, climbing, crawling, reaching above shoulders, typing/keyboard.

Skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with warehouse management systems.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.

Pay

Starting at $24.50, depending on experience.

Schedule

D Shift: Wednesday through Friday 7pm-7am, + every other Saturday from 7pm-7am.
