Operations Support Nurse (RN) - Full-Time

About the role

The Operations Support Nurse at CorrectHealth is responsible for providing clinical oversight, direct patient care, managing regulatory and contractual compliance, and championing continuous quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight and direct patient care within the correctional healthcare setting.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual standards set by NCCHC, ACA, and other accrediting agencies.
• Manage day-to-day operations and ensure high standards of performance are met.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients and staff.
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in Emergency Department, Critical Care, or similar setting.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency with electronic health records.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• ACLS certification.
• Clinical educator or preceptor experience.
• Leadership or charge nurse background.
• Certified Correctional Health Professional (CCHP).

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to respond rapidly to emergencies.
• Stand and walk throughout the facility.
• Assist patients as required.
• Meet security clearance requirements.
• Work in a correctional environment.
• Ability to lift and carry medical equipment up to 50lbs.
• Push and pull medical carts, and equipment as needed.
