Summary Under general direction, the Operations Support performs a variety of job responsibilities which may includeoperation of seed processing equipment, shipping and receiving of product, facility maintenance work, seedbagging, pulling seed samples and treating seed. Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain equipment as directed by the Location Supervisor or other designated personsOperate processing equipment in the plantOperate the bagging lineAssist with box washing dutiesAssist in repairs and maintenance of all equipment as assignedAid in implementing and following quality control standards in all seed production and processing activitiesPerform other production, processing, and dock functions as may be required by the Location SupervisorAssist with treating parent seedAssist with sampling carry-over corn inventoryPerform other jobs necessary as assigned by Location Supervisor Disclaimer - The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performedby people assigned to this classification.
