Job Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor coordinates all warehouse activities, ensuring efficient and safe operations, and supports growth opportunities, competitive pay, supportive leadership, and excellent benefits.

Responsibilities

• Cooking unloading of inbound shipments, stacking of product, and the picking and staging of outbound shipments
• Aiding in establishing work schedules
• Maintaining product locator and optimizing storage space
• Maintaining warehouse security
• Maintaining cleanliness of work area
• Directing operations of work teams to achieve objectives
• Completing necessary records and reports
• Maintaining inventory integrity and conducting physical inventories
• Maintaining sanitation standards

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Training employees
• Planning, assigning, and directing work of forklift drivers, team leaders, and other warehouse personnel

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

• Broad knowledge of warehouse operations
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Organizational and team management skills
• Good computer skills (Microsoft Office operations)

Education and/or Experience

• College degree or High School Diploma and 1-3 years of experience in warehouse management

Physical Demands

• Frequent sitting or standing
• Lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Exposure to hot, humid, and cold conditions
• Exposure to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals
• Moderate noise level
• Exposure to areas requiring personal protective equipment
