About the Role

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing and maintaining the organizational standards in the boutique. They also provide support for the company's overall business plan, shortage reduction programs, risk management, and controllable losses. To be successful, the Operations Supervisor must consistently demonstrate operational excellence and core competencies.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee store operations and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Establish strong partnership with Head of Retail Operations, Boutique Director, and store personnel.
  • Reinforce company policies.
  • Continuously propose additions/edits and improvements to store operations procedures on an as-needed basis.
  • Ensure compliance with Client Relations Management.
  • Provide/assist store personnel in operations/systems training.
  • Conduct internal audits and control processes.
  • Liaise with various internal and external departments.
  • Contribute to the development of Operations/Loss Prevention programs.
  • Support all Risk Management programs and functions, focusing on reducing incidents and associated financial losses.
  • Influence change necessary to deliver results that support organizational goals.
  • Work autonomously and confidently make decisions.
  • Train store personnel on company policy/procedures and store processes.
  • Provide hands-on training to ensure understanding of store processes and standards.
  • Develop competency in auditing, shortage reduction programs, and system controls.
  • Drive results by setting challenging yet realistic goals and objectives for the team.
  • Analyze situations, provide direction, communicate expectations, and coach to achieve desired results.
  • Report Operations KPIs to Boutique Directors.
  • Demonstrate ability to forecast future needs and expenditures and communicate these needs effectively.
  • Handle multiple tasks and projects through to successful conclusion.
  • Ensure completion of audits, analyze results, and develop strategies impacting operational efficiencies and shortage exposures.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proven track record of profit improvement through shortage reduction and improvement in store safety practices.
  • Ability to analyze people and situations effectively and provide direction to impact performance.

Pay

The compensation for this position ranges from $27 to $32 hourly, dependent upon the candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
