The Operations Supervisor plays a key role in managing their team's workflow by assigning tasks, supporting staff, monitoring results, and reporting to senior management. They ensure safety and efficiency by improving processes, setting team targets, and acting as a link between employees and upper management. Supervisors are also responsible for coaching and resolving issues.

This is an on-site role with a 4/10 - Day Shift schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Promote a safe environment for the customer's product, associates, and temporary workers.
  • Follow established operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling, and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.
  • Provide 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Build a positive teamwork environment by listening and communicating with all associates.
  • Help maintain attendance and tardiness records.
  • Monitor daily compliance with safety procedures.
  • Investigate accidents and prepare reports.
  • Provide on-the-job coaching and training needed to ensure associate skills are maintained at desired levels.
  • Help coordinate vacations, payroll, and time sheets for associates and temporary workers, complaints and associate concerns productivity and quality of work.
  • Oversee associates.
  • Maintain proper Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for food grade warehouse.

Requirements

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) with some college level study, and 2+ years experience in a supervisor warehousing role. Strong oral and written communication skills are also required.

Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, Microsoft Office Suites experience, Lean six sigma experience, inventory experience, and Third Party Logistics (3PL) experience.

Benefits

We offer an attractive annual salary of $65,000 - $75,000 plus bonus, with benefits including PTO, sick time, corporate holidays, medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and more. Compensation is based on experience, skills, and education.
