Operations Supervisor
Position Summary
As an Operations Supervisor, you will ensure high levels of service in all managed locations for current and prospective customers. You will also play a key role in fostering an efficient and safety-first culture.
Responsibilities
Own execution and adherence to standards for all branch processes.
Supervise Dock/Yard Employees through coaching and development conversations; ensure a commitment to being a world-class leader in safety and responsibility.
Execute Customer Deliveries / Installations as needed to support Branch Initiatives.
Support After Hour Customer Communication.
Work in direct consultation with Regional Area Manager and Organizational Leadership to build developmental programs with defined career paths for advancement.
Support the Regional Area Manager with leading safety meetings.
Uphold frontline employee safety through the regulation of safety policy compliance, behaviors, and the identification and execution of improvement opportunities.
Assist with accident and injury investigations, work with the Regional Area Manager in building pro-active safety measures.
Assist with facility management including facility appearance while ensuring safety compliance.
Requirements
5+ years in Service, Operations, or Logistics roles. Facility management experience is a plus.
"Team player" with a proven track record of collaboration to solve difficult problems & drive improvement.
CETP Certifications in Service and Delivery.
Demonstrated success in a number of diverse customer service and operation roles.
Ability to coach/train front line employees on company procedures and Safety policies.
Ability to weigh trade-offs to arrive at a solution that is acceptable for both the customer & Paraco.
A valid Commercial Driver’s License [CDL] with (HazMat) hazardous material Endorsement is required.
Class B CDL (with no air brake restrictions) is required.
Endorsement (N) Tank Vehicle is required.
Endorsement (X) in place of (N) and (HazMat) is required.
A clean and safe driving record.
Mechanically inclined skills preferred.
Experience providing a consistently high level of customer service.
Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience managing and anticipating change and challenges.
