About the role

We are seeking an Employee-Owner to lead and supervise areas within one of the nation's largest metal roofing and siding manufacturers. Reporting to the site management team, you will be responsible for ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and timely performance. Your role involves driving continuous improvement, supporting customer needs, and developing future leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Follows and enforces plant safety procedures and uses personal protective equipment.
  • Performs Job Safety Analysis reviews and documents near misses/accidents.
  • Develops team through On the Job Training and coaching.
  • Organizes daily huddles and supports continuous improvement activities.
  • Ensures quality control checks are completed and addresses quality issues.
  • Trains and drives operational principals such as 5-S, waste elimination, production scheduling, and cost reduction.
  • Plans and balances overtime based on workload and schedules.
  • Maintains and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Monitors team performance and implements goals to improve performance.
  • Communicates financials and team impact to supervisors.
  • Resolves conflicts and motivates the team to achieve goals.
  • Conducts performance evaluations and gives feedback.

Requirements

  • Two-year degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Ability to read a tape measure, do basic math, and use a calculator.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate responsibilities.
  • Physical demands include working around machinery, walking, reaching, lifting up to 55 lbs, and standing for long periods.
