About the role

The Finishing Operations Supervisor at LIPPERT is responsible for directing and coordinating operational activities within the plant, ensuring that products are manufactured, painted, and shipped according to specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Process materials, assemble, and/or paint products as per production orders and schedules.
  • Plan and coordinate powdercoating operations, establish priorities, and sequences for painting products.
  • Prepare production schedules and ensure that manufacturing activities meet product specifications.
  • Maintain adequate staffing levels in the finishing areas and ensure all products are shipped in an orderly and timely manner.
  • Supervise and monitor on-the-job training of production Team Members.
  • Monitor parts and supplies in all areas and inform purchasing of required part requirements.
  • Keep production records and maintain equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).

Requirements

  • Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, lift up to 75 pounds, push and pull up to 75 pounds, reach above shoulders, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and operate forklifts for up to 8 hours per day.

Preferred Requirements

  • A 2-year degree in a manufacturing-related field.
