About the role

ID Logistics US, a global leader in third-party logistics, is seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Country Club Hills. Reporting to senior management, the Operations Supervisor will manage workflow, promote safety, and foster a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Promote a safe environment for the customer's product, associates, and temporary workers.
  • Follow established operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling, and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.
  • Provide 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Build a positive teamwork environment by listening and communicating with all associates.
  • Help maintain attendance and tardiness records.
  • Maintain daily compliance with safety procedures.
  • Investigate accidents and prepare reports.
  • Provide on-the-job coaching and training needed to ensure associate skills are maintained at desired levels.
  • Coordinate vacations, payroll, and time sheets for associates and temporary workers, complaints, and associate concerns.
  • Oversee associates.
  • Maintain proper Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for food grade warehouse.

Requirements

  • Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with some college level study is required. 2+ years experience in a supervisor warehousing role. Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree strongly preferred. Bi-lingual, Spanish speaking a plus. Microsoft Office Suites experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. Lean six sigma experience a plus. Inventory experience a plus. Third Party Logistics (3PL) experience a plus.

Benefits

The successful candidate will be compensated with an attractive annual salary of $78,250 plus bonus, along with benefits including paid time off, sick leave, corporate holidays, medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and more. Compensation is based on experience, skills, and education.
