Operations Staff

About the role

Responsible for the conversion from event to event. Work involves moving equipment, setting up equipment such as stages, basketball floor, hockey dasher walls, and some forklift operation. Ensures equipment is set up according to manufacturer guidelines and Company policy. Must adhere to all accesso Brookshire’s Grocery Arena and Legends Global Policies and Procedures, and follow written and verbal directions.

Responsibilities

• Move and set up event equipment, including stages, basketball floors, hockey dasher walls, and related items.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment as required.
• Follow manufacturer guidelines and Company policy for equipment setup.
• Adhere to all facility and company policies and procedures.
• Follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Operate two-way radio equipment.
• Interact professionally with co-workers, customers, vendors, and visitors.
• Work long and irregular hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs or more on a regular basis (40% of the workday).
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, pull, and push continuously.
• Must be able to work well in teams and individually.
• Must communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
• Must work nights, weekends, and holidays in addition to normal business hours.
• Must work safely and effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Reliable transportation is required.
