Position Description
The Operations Specialist II will assist with compiling administrative reports and other special tasks as requested by the Passport Support Manager. Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Additional Tasks
- Assist with compiling administrative reports and other special tasks as requested by the Passport Support Manager
- Perform a physical inventory of all GFE monthly and track the usage and allocation of items daily
- Aid in completing supply orders
- Generate and maintain reports on inventory and purchasing of supply orders
- Fulfill daily order requests
- Prepare procurement actions and documentation for ARIBA requests, GSA purchases, GSA Advantage, and other means
- Manage safety of designated supply areas
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Two (2) years of office experience
- Two (2) years of asset tracking and/or inventory management experience
- Two (2) years of warehouse experience, including experience utilizing a variety of office software, specifically: Microsoft (MS) Word, MS Power Point, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
- Ability to lift and transport up to 45 lbs.
- Ability to catalog and store items
- Ability to utilize inventory logging software
- Good attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Capable of doing repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, stooping, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, pushing carts, moving objects, twisting, sealing envelopes, unpacking/packing/taping/moving boxes, filing, and reading
- Good data entry skills
- Good filing and file retrieval skills
- Ability to work in one place and transverse the office/warehouse/storage areas on a continuing basis
Desired Qualifications
- A basic knowledge of the current TDIS computer system
- Ability to determine quality and correctness of prepared passports and maintain issued applications in an orderly and traceable fashion
