Operations Service Assistant - Las Vegas Blvd
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage purchase requisitions for operational needs, ensuring all required information and supporting documentation is accurate and complete
- Support procurement activities by gathering quotes and coordinating with internal stakeholders
- Maintain and track operational supply inventory, including performing regular counts and ensuring timely replenishment
- Conduct weekly and monthly physical inventory counts for operational supplies, chemicals, and reagents
- Monitor and manage chemical and reagent inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Track and coordinate empty chemical tote pickups as needed
- Support pulp sourcing activities, including receiving and entering bills of lading (BOLs) into SAP
- Monitor delivery schedules and ensure accurate tracking of incoming materials
- Create and process consumption of pulp and broke within SAP
- Maintain accurate inventory and status tracking within designated areas such as exception bays
- Investigate discrepancies and escalate issues to leadership as needed
- Provide support for additional operational tasks based on business needs
Requirements
- A high school diploma is required; additional education is a plus
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or operations environment is preferred
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy are essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams is required
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment is necessary
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are important
- The ability to work independently and take initiative is valued
Role Includes
- Both office-based work and time spent on the production floor
- Regular movement throughout the facility for inventory and operational support tasks
