Operations Safety Specialist

Minimum education: high school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Health and Environmental Science, or related field preferred.

Requirements

• Six (6) months experience in instructor-led training, field operations, or related area
• Experience working in a Safety-focused leadership role preferred
• ASSP, NSC, OSHA Training Institute, or Accredited College Certification preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and web-based applications

• Presentation skills necessary to facilitate training and deliver informational sessions

• Ability to anticipate and identify problems and use sound judgment and fact-based analysis to develop solutions
• Knowledge of concepts, practices, policies, and procedures related to FedEx Operations preferred
