About the role
Responsible for leading a team of software developers in designing, developing, and testing new applications. Oversee project timelines and ensure adherence to coding standards and quality assurance protocols.

- Lead a team of software developers in designing, developing, and testing new applications.
- Oversee project timelines and ensure adherence to coding standards and quality assurance protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and maintain consistency across the team.
- Participate in code refactoring and optimization efforts to enhance application performance and scalability.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to inform development strategies and drive innovation within the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software development and management.
- Proven track record of successful project leadership and delivery.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with agile development processes and tools such as JIRA, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on business needs.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Experience with database design and SQL.
- Knowledge of web development frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
- Knowledge of security best practices and principles.
