Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and analyze Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for large, complex DoD acquisition programs.
- Perform schedule risk assessments for weapon system programs, including the development of schedule logic, identification of driving paths, and critical dependencies.
- Conduct Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA) using Monte Carlo simulation techniques to quantify schedule uncertainty and identify key risk drivers.
- Provide actionable recommendations to mitigate schedule risks and improve program execution.
- Support planning and execution of customer engagements, including standing up new schedule management processes or improving existing processes.
- Interface directly with government program managers, technical leads, and executive leadership, delivering clear, concise schedule briefings and decision-support products.
- Support proposal efforts, contract start-up activities, and transition-in planning as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a scheduling, planning, or schedule risk role within a defense, space, or federal acquisition environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Project, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience using MS Project or comparable scheduling tools.
- Proven experience evaluating schedule risk on complex, multi-disciplinary programs, including hands-on experience conducting Monte Carlo-based schedule risk analyses.
- Experience planning and executing customer engagements, particularly with new customers, to implement or enhance schedule management practices.
- Demonstrated ability to brief and interact with executive-level stakeholders, translating complex schedule data into decision-quality insights.
Pay
Pay Transparency Statement: AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $170,000.00/Yr. - USD $200,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
