About the Role
The Operations Professional is the heart of the back-of-house operations in a Tiffany store. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, working effectively with client advisors, management, corporate partners, and clients to drive store sales and profitability. The Operations Professional must think strategically while overseeing day-to-day execution with a focus on clients, people, and brand desirability. They will collaborate transparently with both central and local teams, modeling and championing Tiffany’s core belief—People Make the Difference—and its values: Be Creative & Innovative, Deliver Excellence, and Cultivate an Entrepreneurial Spirit.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding client service, order fulfillment, and inventory management, ensuring all interactions reflect the Tiffany Touch.
- Ensure merchandise delivery meets Tiffany’s standards of excellence.
- Serve as an excellent communicator and brand ambassador, embodying Tiffany’s values in all actions.
- Champion operational efficiency by completing daily tasks such as order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, replenishment, jewelry cleaning, merchandise transfers, and repair intake, following company policies.
- Supervise and reconcile merchandise inventory, using reports and systems to assess accuracy and report discrepancies to management or corporate partners.
- Partner with client advisors, management, and clients to respond quickly and accurately to requests for product information, services, repairs, shipping, and inventory.
- Elevate the in-store experience by delivering memorable moments and demonstrating passion as a Tiffany brand ambassador.
- Implement standard methodologies to optimize hospitality and store amenities, acting on NPS performance and client feedback.
- Apply deep knowledge of product, service, and care instructions to enhance client satisfaction during interactions.
- Support company efficiency objectives by improving processes and providing feedback on potential changes.
- Drive sales by performing operations functions to help the store achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual commercial targets.
- Collect client interaction data to cultivate new and existing relationships, fostering lifetime dedication and spend.
- Handle internal and external phone and email correspondence, partnering with client advisors and management to generate sales opportunities.
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to work retail store hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong interpersonal skills to connect with clients.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying day-to-day business needs.
- Authorization to work in the United States or the country where the position is based.
Qualifications
- A college or university degree is desired.
