Operations Processor
About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Operations Processor to join our Fargo-based Mail Operations team. This role supports the processing of incoming customer correspondence, fraud and dispute documentation, and other critical operational workflows. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, excels at maintaining accuracy while handling high volumes of work, and values being part of a collaborative team. This is a cross-functional position that provides production support to multiple groups within Operations Services. Team members are expected to be flexible, willing to cross-train, and ready to support a variety of operational processes as business needs evolve.
Responsibilities
- Process physical mail, including fraud and dispute documentation and customer correspondence.
- Research and identify appropriate accounts, case, or dispute information using multiple internal systems.
- Accurately enter and associate account numbers, case numbers, and other critical data.
- Prepare documents for scanning, imaging, and indexing processes.
- Execute a variety of routine tasks within multiple operational systems and interact with multiple internal partners.
- Cross-train in customer correspondence, indexing, and other operational support areas.
- Research exceptions and escalate issues to management as appropriate.
- Recommend and implement developed processing improvements within production.
- Perform physical tasks such as moving trays and carts of work, standing or sitting for extended periods of time, and repetitive motions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One to two years or more of related work experience.
Skills
- Knowledge of products, services, terminology, procedures, and systems related to assigned areas, as well as applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
- Proven commitment to high-quality customer service.
- Good time management skills to maximize production and execution of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding and knowledge of internal policies and procedures within Operations Services and enterprise-wide.
- Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve exceptions through data interpretation.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong 10-key and high-volume numerical data-entry experience.
- Accuracy and attention to detail in fast-paced production environments.
- Comfort navigating multiple computer systems simultaneously.
- Collaborative approach to teamwork and cross-training.
- Reliability, organization, and strong attendance habits.
Location expectations
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location five (5) days per week.

Pay
Pay Range: $20.00 - $20.00 per hour.
