Operations Material Planner

Location: On-site in Indianapolis, IN

About the role

Join Kelly and partner with a leading pharmaceutical company as an Operational Materials Planner on the Global Materials Planning team. In this role, you will drive supply chain excellence by ensuring quality raw materials and consumables reach manufacturing sites worldwide. You’ll serve as a trusted liaison between local API manufacturing sites and the centralized API Raw Material Hub, shaping a robust, scalable global supply network.

Responsibilities

• Collect and validate standardized demand and materials data from manufacturing sites.
• Aggregate site inputs to create a cohesive network view for central planning.
• Serve as the main point of contact for both manufacturing sites and the Central Materials Planning function.
• Execute end-to-end materials purchasing activities, including order creation, vendor management, and invoice processing.
• Maintain critical master data and ensure SAP entries support seamless operations.
• Resolve day-to-day transactional and supplier issues efficiently, supporting high KPI performance.
• Contribute to data quality, streamlined workflows, and automation initiatives.
• Collaborate across functions with Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Engineering, and other teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• Internship or co-op experience in supply chain, procurement, or manufacturing is a plus.

Skills

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Power BI; SAP experience is a plus.
• Effective communicator with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Interest in materials management or pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Pay

$25.00/hour

Schedule

8:00am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday
