Responsibilities
- Aid in overseeing day-to-day operations.
- Design strategy and set goals for growth.
- Maintain budgets and optimize expenses.
- Set policies and processes.
- Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally.
- Oversee recruitment and training of new employees.
- Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance.
- Direct the employee assessment process.
- Prepare regular reports for upper management.
- Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations.
- Provide solutions to issues (e.g., profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors).
Job Requirements
- Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts.
- Possess a valid driver’s license in the state of residence.
- Able to do the following with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and/or stretch during shifts up to 10 hours long.
- Lift, push, pull and move boxes up to 70 pounds each.
- Move up and down stairs.
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience interacting with Independent Contractors (Delivery Service Providers).
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience with final mile deliveries.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated communication skills (written and verbal).
- Final Mile Experience.
