About the role
The Operations Manager at OnTrac will report to the General Manager and will play a pivotal role in providing strategic leadership and overseeing day-to-day activities to ensure efficiency and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Manage personnel and implement strategic processes
- Sustain a positive work culture within the warehouse
- Guide and direct facility management in the development, production, promotion, and financial aspects of the organization's services
- Evaluate the results of overall operations regularly and systematically report these results to the Regional Operations and General Managers
- Responsible for maintaining engineered staffing levels for all positions, including coaching, skills development, rewards and recognition, performance management, and staff productivity for hourly and salaried positions
- Maintain adherence to all aspects of the contract and work with Vendors and Independent Contractors for accountability to the operating agreement
Requirements
- GED/Diploma required, bachelor's degree in Logistics or related discipline preferred
- A minimum of 5 years’ management experience, 2 in a similar industry; or equivalent combination of both education and specific work experience
- 6 years' experience in industry or related field; or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Last-mile delivery or Small Parcel experience highly desired
- Experience with an independent contractor model; strong negotiation skills
- Ability to inspire a shared vision, empower and engage a team
- Strong organization and time-management skills utilizing MS Office Suite

- Frequently need to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to handle or feel
- Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move items averaging 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds
- Occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch

Pay
The expected starting base pay range for this position is $84,000 - $105,000, with full potential base salary range over a successful candidate’s tenure in the position of $105,000- $126,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other job-related factors.
Schedule
The position is performed onsite at one of the Company’s operational facilities, unless otherwise specified in the job posting.
