Operations Manager
Responsibilities
- Devise and implement a systematic approach to manage transition or transformation of Starr’s goals, processes, and technologies.
- Communicate the need for change and involve people in developing the change.
- Develop and implement release management strategies across all underwriting platforms.
- Engage with end-users to develop, evaluate and execute User Acceptance Testing prior to production implementation.
- Manage change management communications.
- Monitor and assess post-implementation and address issues as they arise.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize accordingly.

- Undergraduate degree.
- Proficient in SDLC methodologies.
- Experience with change management.
- MS Office proficient, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, lookups and complex functions/formulas.
- Working knowledge of Visio for process mapping.
- Experience with commercial insurance policy administration system (5+ years insurance experience a plus).
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, Starr Insurance Companies is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets: experience and training: licensure and certifications: and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $100,000-$130,000.

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $100,000-$130,000.
