Operations Management Trainee
About the role
As an Operations Management Trainee (OMT), you’ll be part of an 18-month structured and comprehensive training program designed to develop leadership and operational knowledge. This position involves working collaboratively with different teams to gain insights into the business, processes, and strategies to align with customer retention, operational excellence, and metrics. You’ll have the opportunity to utilize your problem-solving abilities to help make impactful business decisions for the company.
Relocation within the business unit at the conclusion of the training program is required. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate to start their career with a successful and stable company in the transportation and logistics industry.

Responsibilities
- Manage customer relationship activities by providing quality customer interface, proactive customer management, issue resolution, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with the rental department to ensure maximum utilization without compromising lease customers.
- Partner with Sales staff on customer calls for new business and increased customer satisfaction.
- Manage running costs and maintenance overheads while ensuring policy and processes are followed to optimize efficiency.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales, and Marketing to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ensure accurate preventive maintenance (PM) scheduling, follow-up on breakdowns, and vehicle status updates.
- Oversee Technician work planning for efficiency, training, and flexibility.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (Required).
- 1 year or more in customer service with issue resolution experience (Preferred).
- Strong PC knowledge/skills, including advanced spreadsheet and word processing software (Required).
- Basic understanding of Business Finance, controls, and metrics (Beginner level, Required).

Pay
Annual Salary: $57,000 (paid weekly).
Schedule
Monday to Friday, 5:00 am - 1:30 pm.
