Operations Leadership Trainee Program

Job Summary

The Operations Leadership Trainee is an entry-level position that offers structured learning and development opportunities within a WebstaurantStore distribution center. The role aims to prepare individuals for permanent leadership positions by providing flexibility in scheduling and exposure to various operational aspects.

Responsibilities

• Support the management of day-to-day decisions in assigned department/shift regarding performance, process, and leadership.
• Learn and understand the process of each department/shift, making connections between interactions and identifying areas for improvement.
• Engage actively in leadership discussions and apply WebstaurantStore leadership principles to daily work.
• Maintain oversight of daily, weekly, and monthly metrics for assigned departments; resolve operating issues as necessary, including supporting corrective actions and progressive discipline processes.
• Interact with employees regularly to enhance engagement and ensure adherence to safety regulations/rules.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and/or walk up to 12 hours per day.
• Use hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
• Bend, squat, crawl, climb, and reach regularly.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 lbs.

Experience

Two years of relevant experience in management preferred but not required. Experience in a distribution environment is desired.

Education

This role does not require a degree. Relevant skills and experience, aligned with our core values, are valued highly.
