What You Will Do
- Ensures successful completion of daily Job Processing (scheduling, system backups, posting files) on the Core Processor to support business objectives.
- Maintains and monitors daily, weekly, and monthly processes and job routines to ensure seamless operations for the Credit Union and its membership across enterprise applications.
- Administers enterprise scheduling and system monitoring tools to manage the DSFCU computing environment, including infrastructure, ATMs, messaging, and enterprise applications.
- Manages and communicates escalated issues to senior engineering staff and IT Management in a timely manner.
- Provides management reporting to measure and demonstrate processes and jobs are completed accurately and timely according to service level agreements.
- Provides on-call support to support the DSFCU enterprise.
- Provides technical support for the core processing system, including handling interruptions to operational service.
- Responsible for all maintenance activity associated with the Core Processor, including data updates, end-of-day processing, end-of-month processing, and ACH processing.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
What You Will Need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- 4+ related work experience required.
- 1+ years Credit Union or Banking processing experience preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in database (queries), reporting, and system monitoring;
- Process/procedure development and adherence, diagramming, implementation, and improvement required.
- Linux System and DB2 Knowledge required.
- Effective and clear communication skills, including open and direct verbal communication, clear and concise business writing, effective presentation skills, and good listening skills required.
- Demonstrated competence using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
