Operations Engineer

Duration: 12+ months, 100% remote (GA-Atlanta based)

About the role

As an Application Developer, you will join Turnberry's Digital Modernization practice, where technology and strategy combine to deliver exceptional digital experiences, empowering organizations to thrive in today's digital market.

Responsibilities

• Work with moderate work direction and identify issues/problems but may need assistance in resolving
• Plan, design, develop, code, and test software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products
• Revise and refine systems as required
• Participate in the devising of project timelines, implementation design specifications, system flow diagrams, and documentation
• Involved in testing and ongoing support of business systems
• Develop and maintain operational and system level documentation

Requirements

• Knowledge of Python, Concurrency Programming, Microservices, and Test Driven Development
• Good understanding of CI/CD processes
• Ability to apply SDLC concepts and proven track record of delivering solid, robust applications
• Grasp of Linux fundamentals and Shell Programming
• Knowledge of deployment tools like Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes
• The role involves an even split (50% each) of the above responsibilities and requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud experience
• AI development

Pay

The salary range for this role is $80,000 to $160,000 or the hourly equivalent, based on factors including education, work experience, and certifications.
