Operations / Dispatch / Sales Trainee

About the role

This is a full-time, on-site, entry-level opportunity to learn the fast-paced world of flatbed and steel hauling trucking. Comprehensive training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from truck drivers in a professional manner and route calls appropriately
• Learn and master the accurate data entry of customer loads
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to dispatch activities
• As Training Progresses, Responsibilities Will Expand To Include:
  • Scheduling and dispatching truck drivers
  • Monitoring and tracking shipments to ensure safe, on-time delivery
  • Communicating with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues efficiently
  • Supporting day-to-day operational and customer service functions

Requirements

• 1-2 years of business experience strongly preferred
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing, operations, logistics, or office-based environment is a plus
