Operations - Delivery Driver CDL-B/Warehouse Associate I (Sign on Bonus)

About the Role

A person in this position is responsible to safely drive a class A, B, or C vehicle to regularly perform deliveries to support customer purchases. The role also involves recovering used batteries, performing customer installations, and performing warehouse tasks associated with shipping, receiving, labeling, loading, inventory control, and battery maintenance. Excellence is demonstrated consistently and process improvements are contributed.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver product and pick up used batteries, as well as maintain and replenish consignment products for customers
• Plan efficient routes and ensure proper/accurate, staged, and safe stocking of the vehicle
• Perform battery installations and maintain accurate documentation of all customer transactions
• Load and offload vehicles and prepare shipments
• Add a valuable, helpful, and positive influence to the customer experience

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid DOT CDL (Class B acceptable) with medical card and hazmat endorsement
• Minimum 1 year of experience working as a CDL Driver
• High School Diploma or equivalent (3.0 or higher GPA preferred)
• MVR with little to no safety concerns within the past 3 years
• General knowledge of DOT/HOS requirements and HAZCOM safety procedures
• Basic computer skills and experience with material handling equipment (forklifts/pallet jacks)

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment and diverse customer facilities
• Physical strength to carry product weighing up to 125 lbs (participation in group lifts required for heavier weight)
• Ability to push pallets or wheeled carts weighing over 3,000 lbs
• Comfortable with frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and reaching

Pay

$28.00 / hr

Schedule

Full-Time, Non-Exempt. Commonly an 8-hour shift scheduled between 7 AM and 6 PM, Monday-Friday with occasional weekends.
