Operations Data Analyst
About the role
JNH Events and Marketing is looking for an Operations Data Analyst who can contribute to operational reporting, workflow analysis, KPI review, and process improvement support. This is a remote United States position where disciplined documentation and consistent ownership are as important as completing the task itself. Work will be organized around defined priorities and documented procedures. When a record, request, or result does not match expectations, the right response is to verify the available information, note the difference, and use the appropriate escalation path rather than forcing a conclusion. Because the position is remote, work should remain visible through clear status updates, well-maintained files, and concise written notes. Good handoffs matter: another team member should be able to understand what was completed, what remains open, and what evidence supports the current status.
Responsibilities
- Validate operational data before using it in recurring reports or recommendations.
- Coordinate with process owners to clarify definitions, workflow steps, and reporting needs.
- Identify unusual patterns and escalate issues that require deeper investigation.
- Analyze operational data to understand volume, turnaround, capacity, and recurring exceptions.
- Document current workflows and identify handoffs, delays, or repeated sources of rework.
- Prepare concise summaries that help operational owners understand findings and next steps.
Qualifications
- Ability to manage recurring reporting and ad hoc analysis in parallel.
- Willingness to learn process-mapping, KPI, and root-cause concepts.
- Education or experience suitable for an entry-level or early-career operations-analysis role.
- Analytical thinking and practical interest in how workflows perform.
- Attention to data quality before drawing operational conclusions.
- Clear ownership and reliable follow-up are central to the role, especially when assignments move across a distributed team.
Pay
$75,000-$85,000 per year
