Operations Crane Lead II - Artificial Lift

About the role

As a Crane Operator, you will play a key role in field operations by safely operating lifting equipment and supporting the installation, maintenance, and repair of pumping units.

Responsibilities

  • Operate traveling or stationary cranes to lift, move, and position loads
  • Safely rig up and rig down cranes, bucket trucks, and related equipment
  • Assist in the assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of pumping units
  • Pre-load jobs and ensure all tools and equipment are ready for field operations
  • Identify pumping unit components and support troubleshooting efforts
  • Inspect cranes and lifting equipment before and after use
  • Execute lockout tagout (LOTO) procedures and stored energy isolation
  • Write job safety analysis (JSA) under supervision
  • Follow standard operating procedures and all safety rules
  • Drive company vehicles to and from job locations
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
  • Work in all weather conditions and support field operations as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • NCCCO crane certification
  • Current CDL
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Mechanical ability to perform field tasks
  • Knowledge of rigging and safe lifting practices
  • Ability to work at heights and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Able to follow instructions and work well with a team
