Operations Coordinator, Home Hospital

About the role

Collaborating with clinical nurses, providers, and the Business Operations Manager, the Operations Coordinator supports the daily functions of Home Hospital. Your role includes assisting patients and families with screening, consent, and enrollment. You will monitor admissions and referrals, manage supplies and equipment, and help maintain critical workflows to deliver quality care at home. You will acquire a detailed understanding of the Home Hospital model and work independently onsite. You will also work alongside colleagues throughout the Mass General Brigham system.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients and families with screening, consent, and enrollment

• Manage supplies and equipment
• Help maintain critical workflows to deliver quality care at home
• Acquire a detailed understanding of the Home Hospital model and work independently onsite
• Work alongside colleagues throughout the Mass General Brigham system

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required and Associate's Degree in a related field preferred
• Experience in an administrative or operational support role, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting, 2-3 years required

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with teams with varied experiences and viewpoints
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other office software
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively
• Basic understanding of hospital operations and regulatory requirements is a plus

Pay

$19.81 - $28.30/Hourly Grade 4

Schedule

40 hours per week - Monday through Friday from 10:00am - 6:00pm onsite at Salem Hospital.
