General Description (Major Areas of Responsibility of This Position)
- Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, repair, and replace batteries of all sizes.
- Determine and recommend products or services that best fit customers' needs, which may involve driving to customer destinations (field service).
- Perform light, preventative maintenance, and automotive mechanic work.
- Safely recover used batteries, perform warehouse tasks such as shipping, receiving, loading, inventory control, and battery maintenance.
- Record successful processes and procedures required to carry out all functions.
- Occasionally perform deliveries to support customer relationships.
Job Responsibilities
- Automotive Technician:
- Safely deliver a high-quality customer experience while increasing profitable sales of Company products and services.
- Create and maintain promoters (raving fans) of clients.
- Obtain referrals from customers and successfully generate leads.
- Knowledgeable in products carried and educate customers on products promoted monthly.
- Identify helpful opportunities for customers through expanding the use of Company products and services.
- Assist retail customers and perform battery installations; may perform light, automotive preventative maintenance.
- Load and offload vehicles, prepare shipments, ensure warehouse orderliness, safety, and cleanliness.
- Label products, perform battery charging and reconditioning, and maintain accurate documentation of all inventory transactions.
