Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, repair, and replace batteries of all sizes.
  • Recommend products or services that best fit customer needs, including field service visits.
  • Perform light preventative maintenance and automotive mechanic work.
  • Safely recover used batteries and handle warehouse tasks such as shipping, receiving, loading, inventory control, and battery maintenance.
  • Record successful processes and procedures for all functions.
  • Occasionally perform deliveries to support customer relationships.
  • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely.
  • Consistently demonstrate excellence and contribute process improvements.
  • Deliver a high-quality customer experience while increasing profitable sales of company products and services.
  • Create and maintain customer promoters (raving fans) and obtain referrals.
  • Generate leads and educate customers on promoted products.
  • Identify opportunities to expand the use of company products and services.
  • Assist retail customers and perform battery installations, including light automotive preventative maintenance.
  • Load and offload vehicles, prepare shipments, and ensure the warehouse is orderly, safe, and clean.
  • Label products, perform battery charging and reconditioning.
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts and complete counts, maintaining accurate documentation of all inventory transactions.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of battery products and equipment, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience with safe forklift driving practices and material handling equipment.
