About the role

We are seeking an individual who will handle all tasks related to incoming business. Your first impression of our organization and the satisfaction of our distribution partners start with you!

Responsibilities

  • Handle intake of new annuity applications, reviewing for completeness and accuracy.
  • Prepare and follow up on 1035/rollover transfer documentation, adhering to established timelines.
  • Ensure premiums are processed within 24 hours of receipt.
  • Manage outgoing funds for not taken orders and overpayments within established timeframes.
  • Communicate with producers to ensure accurate and timely processing of premium payments and annuity applications, obtaining required documentation as needed.
  • Provide status updates and assist in research for other departments, agencies, and agents.
  • Maintain an updated knowledge base of company annuity offerings and possess a basic understanding of IRC tax procedures.
  • Analyze products, services, and business processes to ensure satisfaction of partners and propose beneficial solutions.
  • Promote our digital platforms both internally and externally.
  • Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, and other applicable policies.
  • Communicate developments within assigned responsibilities to management and perform special projects as requested.
  • Manage daily premium remittance workflows, ensuring accurate logging, application, and reconciliation within established timelines.
  • Review and validate premium allocations, identifying and resolving issues through collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or Associates degree required.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years applicable experience in insurance or finance services preferred.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment and maintain positive energy in the face of adversity.
  • Intermediate PC skills including all Microsoft Office Software.
  • Must adhere to schedule requirements demonstrating dependability and reliability.

Qualifications

  • NC Life License required, with 90 days to obtain.
  • Intermediate accounting or financial background a plus.
